YAV Shell Mobile

How it works

Install the companion on your Windows 11 PC and the app on your Android phone (10+). Pair them once with a QR code, pick or create a project folder on the PC, and tap Open terminal. Commands, tools and files all live on the PC; the phone is a secure window into them. Works over your LAN or your private VPN (e.g. Tailscale) — no cloud account.

• Sessions keep running when your phone disconnects — resume exactly where you left off

Unsigned early test builds: Windows SmartScreen and Android will warn before installing. Install only because you know where these came from.

Quick start

• 1. Run yav-companion.exe on the PC — it sits in the system tray.
• 2. Tray menu → Pair phone… shows a QR code (2-minute window).
• 3. On the phone: Add PC → scan → compare the verification phrase → approve on the PC.
• 4. Choose a folder (or create one) → Open terminal.
